We want to apologize if it feels like we’ve been venting a lot lately. It’s just hard to ignore that nearly every move from this administration seems to be illegal, unlawful, or outright unconstitutional and yet nothing happens.

The Justice Department is compiling the largest set of national voter roll data it has ever collected. They claim their goal is to prove that “troves of undocumented immigrants have voted illegally.” That’s not the real objective.

We’re going to go on a rant for a minute, and yes we’re bringing some history with us. Back in 1755, Benjamin Franklin wrote words that still echo today: “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

The Trump administration has forced the National Park Service to take down additional interpretive signs at major parks. This includes signage at the Grand Canyon and at Glacier National Park.

Another win! Democrat Chasity Martinez has won the Louisiana HD-60 special election. Martinez won 63%-37%. Trump carried the district by 13 points in 2024. 🌊

Far-right influencer and Florida political candidate Jake Lang, who previously received a pardon for his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot, was arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota, after he damaged an ice sculpture that read “PROSECUTE ICE” on the grounds of the Minnesota State Capitol.

Trump is refusing to apologize for the racist video and says he didn’t make a mistake. He may not realize it, but this isn’t the hill to die on.

Mainstream outlets are now confirming that the FBI has called state election officials into an unusual midterm briefing.

Trump now says he didn’t personally post the racist video and that it was done by a staffer. That raises serious questions. If a staffer handled this post, it’s fair to ask which other public statements or posts are actually coming directly from him versus someone on his team.

How is this even legal? Officials in the Trump administration dangled the release of billions in stalled funding for the Hudson River rail tunnel on the condition that Senator Schumer spearhead an effort to rename prominent transit centers in New York City and Washington in Trump’s honor.

Trump removed his post that included a racist video portraying former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as apes. Simply deleting it is not enough a public apology is warranted.
