I’m heartened that some of the very Jewish orgs that attacked @thejcpa.bsky.social last week for working w/ @neatoday.bsky.social & the Jewish Affairs Caucus to secure these new rules are now celebrating them. Hard to argue with impact. JCPA will continue to partner with NEA to address antisemitism.

Extremism and misogyny are intertwined. The white nationalists who attacked Charlottesville had long histories of sexual assault and domestic violence. It’s sadly not shocking that there are credible allegations against Platner — and it’s vital progressives have zero tolerance for it.
Confronting antisemitism requires hard, constructive engagement. After the issues at last year’s @neatoday.bsky.social Representative Assembly, JCPA worked with NEA and the Jewish Affairs Caucus on new rules intended to ensure a safer and more inclusive convention for Jewish - and all - members.
There are real, important critiques of AIPAC and of money in politics. Dehumanizing “monsters” rhetoric or coffee shops arbitrarily banning a Jewish congressman reinforce the same divisive, dangerous, zero-sum dynamics the right has long pushed. Everyone needs to do better.
Our partners in Indiana rejected the Lt Gov’s call to “hate” Muslims. So now the Lt Gov is attacking the Jewish community. Islamophobia is never about Jewish safety — it’s about pitting us against each other & advancing extremism, and it makes us all less safe. indianacitizen.org/lt-gov-beckw...
