We’re in another Middle East war. I’m reflecting on the fact that it’s easy to start a war, difficult to end it. There’s often war optimism, so it’s unlikely to end with bomb strikes today. Lastly, I’m troubled that Trump’s national security team is who we have running this war.

America’s Generals are terrified. They are cowed. They seem unlikely to hold the line and live up to their oaths to serve the U.S. Constitution. Trump violated the law (the Hatch Act) conducting a political rally at Fort Bragg, rousing the troops to cheer his slogans but the Generals stay silent.

This past weekend, I spent time speaking to folks in line for a Donald Trump rally in The Villages. And I kept hearing the same story: rising costs, unaffordable housing, and families feeling the squeeze. No matter who they're voting for, people are just trying to make it work.

I’m willing to work with anybody to cut costs. That’s why I spent the day listening to voters in The Villages, where nearly 70% of the community voted for Trump.
