Right now there is clear, overwhelming opposition to Mahmoud Khalil’s abduction across the moderate, liberal, progressive & left spectrum. This kind of loud unity is what authoritarians are afraid of. To keep it up we need every institution & public leader to join the chorus.

The self-identified fascist making the rounds in today's viral @mehdirhasan.bsky.social video is an online personality in Nick Fuentes' groyper movement known as Pinesap. Here he is speaking at a Fuentes rally in June 2024 & pictured with other figures in the movement

Claiming support from a made-up Jewish organization named 'Holocaust Council' to defend the appointment of a groyper to a high-level position telegraphs that figures in the Trump administration are deeply disdainful of Jews, and relish the opportunity to sadistically troll us
