Just thought I’d re-post this old photo of our late, much-loved dog Darby being too lazy to get up when the mail was dropped on him through the door-slot.

I can’t begin to say how many great artists I was introduced to over the years by “120 Minutes”. Rest In Peace, Dave Kendall.

Just re-watched the great, underrated film noir classic “Force of Evil” which I first learned about when Scorsese raved about it in a doc. Such a shame that John Garfield and writer/director Abraham Polonsky both paid such a huge price for courageously refusing to name names during the Red Scare.

Just laughed remembering a joke from an old Letterman Top Ten list, “Top Ten BigFoot Pet Peeves”: “Driver’s license photo makes him look like Gregg Allman”.

Everything is terrible but I just learned that the Irish/Gaelic word for ladybug, Boin De, translates as “God’s little cow”.
