Mainly clear and minimal weather worry for trick-or-treating. 🎃 👻 Main issue is a gusty wind. It'll make seasonably cool readings feel about 5-10 chillier than the actual temperature. Might need a layer to go with the costume. Details at cwg.live.

Wind chills at 8 p.m. on Halloween.. mainly mid-40s with closer to 50 downtown DC or near the water.

DECENT RAIN-- FINALLY! After less than 1" of rain over the last 40 days, DC area picked up 1-2" since Wednesday night. (A few lingering showers could fall thru midday, but it's mostly over) This will help lessen the drought a bit. Details at cwg.live

A taste of spring in late October! Strengthening low pressure to our west Thursday may deliver strong or severe storms in the morning through early afternoon. Gusty winds 💨 main threat, but a tornado 🌪️ also possible. Details at cwg.live.

Severe thunderstorm risk on Thursday. It covers all the DC area and the coastal region from southern NJ to eastern NC.
