The Texas House Committee on Redistricting held a session in Arlington tonight. I had the opportunity to give public comment, so I stepped to the mic. Authoritarianism doesn’t come in with trumpets. It creeps in and thrives on our hesitation to speak out. We say NO MORE. #txlege #redistricting

Here are the two Republicans running for Texas SD9. Over half of Wambsganss $1.6mil is from Tim Dunn and Dan Patrick, plus Texans for Lawsuit Reform. Over (get this) 95% of Huffman’s $3.2mil comes from Miriam Adelson. You don’t have to vote for those doing the billionaires bidding. #txlege

Arlington, TX has a resolution to strip away protections in employment, housing, and public accommodations relating to sexual orientation or gender identity. The residents of Arlington came out on 10/14 to speak against it. It isn’t over. The City voted to wait until 11/18 to make a final decision

At Fort Worth City Council last night, they were deciding if they were going to rename 1 mile of White Settlement Road because a developer with a 💰 didn’t think a name rooted in racism would be good for business Council voted 9-2 to change the name. But just of the 1 mile. The rest stays the same 🙄
