Trump went to China pretending to be a big strong alpha male and was reduced to a sputtering mess by President Xi, a horrible authoritarian. Trump ended up mumbling about Taiwan and ranting about “Chinese food.” Trump loves dictators, and the dictators know they can manipulate Trump. Sad situation.
