In a demonstration of how fucking dumb the ppl that populate election betting markets are, they are currently moving towards Ciattarelli based on this Emerson poll even though what Emerson is basically saying here is "we think this race moved towards Sherrill since late September."

Its kinda of wild that Emerson gets treated like a respectable pollster considering how constantly all over the place their polling is and how junky their methodological practices are

A fact that seems to generally be under considered in all of the "old candidates" discourse is that the older candidate in the last three presidential election was the one that won and that is a trend that is very likely to continue at least thru the 2028 election

The Intercept roster is like a Dream Team lineup of bad faith ratfucker figures: Glenn Greenwald, Jeremy Scahill, Kenn Klippenstein, Ryan Grim, Lee Fang, and a few others

Like a lot of "these candidates are being forced on us by ~the establishment~" sorts of arguments, the discourse around candidate age always conveniently leaves out just how much voters--in primaries and in the general--seem to be perfectly fine voting for an older candidate most of the time.

At this point everyone with even half a brain should treat basically anyone that worked at the intercept for anything more than an extremely brief period of time with extreme suspicion.

The GOP aligned junk pollster cycle: slop in, slop out. The funny thing here is that Red Eagle Politics clearly thought they were gonna get a ratfucker poll that showed Ciattarelli up by going to a pro-R pollster, but instead what SoCal Strategies came back with was Sherrill up 52-45 😂

Theyre likely going to do it anyways bc no one in this administration is capable of understanding just how bad all of this ICE/CBP thuggery looks like to the average American.
