I am over the moon to share that I’m starting a new position as a Research Fellow at the Kinsey Institute! I am so inspired and impressed by the research (and the researchers) at Kinsey, and I'm looking forward to getting involved with this work! :)

Overheard a woman ask “so there’s more than one supreme court justice?” The man she was with responded by explaining that James Comey was the ninth Supreme Court justice.

After getting health insurance married in May, Davis and I had our real wedding ceremony with our families and a handful of our closest friends in Olympic National Park on Friday, and it was everything I ever dreamed it would be.

Embarrassingly, I just had to purchase a step stool for my office so I could reach the top of the whiteboard.

One of the worst things about the rise of AI is that it has made me approach students’ work from a position of distrust and suspicion. Many students probably want to learn and authentically push themselves to grow. But AI is everywhere, and I can’t just trust anymore.

The best piece of advice I can give to incoming college students is that the freshman 15 doesn’t matter. Go out with your friends and have fun. Get late night ice cream with your roommate & let your parents spoil you when you go home. Going up a size won’t kill you, but an eating disorder might.

I introduced my two friends a few months ago, they hit it off immediately, and it is possible that they are more in love than two people have ever been before. I do consider this to be my greatest achievement.

Today, my grad school roommate had her second baby (congrats Janey!). It is amazing how two people whose lives intersected can end up on such different life paths.
