You know that scene in an action movie when the bad guy runs through the kitchen of a restaurant and pulls down all the pots and pans behind him to slow down his pursuers? We're in that part of the Trump presidency.

Purposely wrecking the economy and expecting people to be happy about it is the definition of out of touch.

The President of the United States is pretty relaxed about the rest of us experiencing economic disruption so long as the world’s richest man can keep selling overpriced cars assembled for him by underpaid workers who get fired when they attempt to unionize.

I’m 45 and I play competitive amateur baseball. What’s cool about still playing a team sport with a high degree of seriousness other than everything? My fitness does not revolve around “bulk and cut” or aesthetics. I build muscle in the off-season and I maintain it while playing April-October.

Every few months, out of curiosity, I'll search my name on twitter and bluesky to see what people say about me when they decide not to tag me. It never disappoints. Today's find: "Jason Kander is a great example of dorky face hot guy vibes."

Cape Verde is the size of Kansas City. I promise you there’s hardly a person in that country that doesn’t personally know at least one player on that team. Can you imagine how proud they must be of them?

The billionaire class’s baseless smear of all non-governmental charitable organizations as useless and rife with fraud is a smart move by people who would prefer not to pay more in taxes or be expected to give generously to charity.

Really hard to imagine becoming a trillionaire and not wanting to immediately liquidate enough assets to give at least a few hundred billion to organizations making the world a better place.

I’d watch a 10 part series about Ivan and Viktor Drago fighting for Ukrainian independence a few years after the events of CREED 2.

Hegseth claims the dumbest phrase in military history is “our diversity is our strength” 1. He’s wrong. Our diversity is a strength. 2. The dumbest phrase in military history is “personally owned vehicle” because whether said in full or as an acronym (POV) it is still more syllables than “my car”

I understand the argument for how Israel’s national interest was advanced in this war. I do not in any way see how our interests were anything but severely harmed.
