We must demand justice for the women who shared their stories of Epstein’s abuse. We must do right by these women and all survivors of sexual violence by holding perpetrators accountable. I introduced an amendment to do just that — and the GOP wouldn’t even let it be debated.

FACTS: 92,000 jobs LOST last month. Unemployment INCREASED to 4.4%. 27 cent SPIKE in gas prices. Trump is ignoring the needs of people here at home, meanwhile he’s undertaking illegal wars in Iran and around the world that cost billions of taxpayer dollars.

The Trump administration gave $1.2 billion to a company with ZERO experience in detention management, and it unsurprisingly had a disastrous result. This facility, as well as every private, for-profit detention facility, needs to be closed.

Prosecutors are losing key witnesses in criminal cases because they are getting deported by this administration. The lawlessness of ICE and CBP makes us all less safe.

Over the last year, the Trump administration has gone after free speech they disagree with, including revoking student visas for criticizing the Israeli government. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The First Amendment applies to EVERYONE in the United States.

You can’t say you believe in free speech when you only apply it to certain people and not others. The First Amendment has to apply across the board.

The US maximum pressure campaign on Cuba is a cruel and failing policy that has caused incredible harm to the Cuban people. Venezuela is a clear example that Trump doesn't care about democracy or civil society. This is just a plain attempt to open up Cuban markets to his billionaire buddies.
