A bit of personal news for y’all. Today is my last day as a member of the Bluesky team! The past 2+ years building out Bluesky’s Infrastructure and Platform team and scaling the network from 100,000 -> 40,000,000 users have been the most intense and rewarding years of my life.

FYI if you're using the Pins feed, it's running behind since ~November 14th, 2024. I don't have capacity to handle it right now, but I'll get to fixing it when I've got a chance in the next few days/weeks. The huge new influx of users and activity has been very exciting but my poor systems are sad.

This past week has been an insane combination of incredible stress and success. While I'm mostly feeling the stress right now, I know eventually I'll feel the incredible success when I finally get a breather 20 Million Users Could not have asked for a better team 💜
