Survivor parent: My son died from fentanyl poisoning after Snapchat connected him with a dealer. He was 19. Snapchat connected him with a local dealer selling counterfeit pills. One pill ended his life while Snapchat let the dealer continue selling to children long after he died.

Attorney: I’m a trial lawyer. I tried the case against Meta and Google in Los Angeles, the first social media addiction case decided by an American jury. The evidence that I saw in that case keeps me up at night.

Sen. DURBIN: Two things we can do to stand up to Big Tech. Repeal Section 230. Let every American family access courts to enforce the protection of their children. We will see things happen dramatically if we do those two things.
