1. A guy I went to high school with become a pastor and later ran for office as a Republican (He is a decent person, though. You’ll have to take my word for that). He called me after I’d politely pointed out on Facebook that GOP policies starve the poor, and we had a good conversation about it.

Speaking of soft secession, states who are making up the amount of money being denied to SNAP recipients out of our own funds should not have to pay that money to the Federal government in taxes next year. No, I don’t know how to make that happen, but maybe someone does.

1. This certainly sounds like dementia. 2. The time shift is further addling his brain. They’ll have to stop his international travel soon. 3. If he’s ever criminally charged again, he won’t be fit to stand trial. 4. What’s with the magnets?

If your company/organization is demanding that workers adopt AI tools without a plan in place to assess the effectiveness and impact of the change and respond and adjust accordingly, then your company is engaged in a religious exercise, not an empirical one.

At least a generation has the opportunity to know and remember WHO pays tariffs, and maybe pass that information on to their children and grandchildren. (Doesn’t mean they’ll seize this opportunity, but they have it).
