I’ve been thinking about how the white moderate think about free speech. Where calling for violence and the dehumanization of entire groups of people is merely supposed to be pluralism at work rather than an a threat to that pluralism.

Y'all the political violence we are seeing isn't on some random posters. It's on the president. It's on his administration. Why do we have higher standards for random people online than we do the political elite?

I don’t know why anybody is going along with the course description justification for firing a professor. A class discussion can go anywhere depending on who is in the class and their questions. Everything is political, so what would be off the table for political scientists?

I don’t think that it make sense to be the academic that so desperately wants to be liked and respected, that I need to find common ground with neo Nazis. “Well they have a point.” No they don’t. They are never right. Intentions matter and until more academics understand that, this ship will sink.

Watching my babies use teamwork and cooperate with each other makes me very happy.

I finished boxing and I’m very happy that I’ve gotten my but back to exercising. I can’t let these kids and the job kill me. Especially the job.

The far right media harassment campaign against Black professors finally led to someone’s death. That’s on the university for sensationalizing what should have been a private investigation and everyone else that contributed including many academics that actively played into their hands.

I'm revising my lit review and you know, I think I don't like quippy titles about Black neighborhoods. They bother me. 😂

The Valleycats game was fun. I’ve never seen a Frontier League baseball game. It wasn’t bad and it’s cheap.

Last of Us Part 2 is just a perfect game. I don’t know why I try to watch the show.

There’s this weird puritan streak every time folks talk about partying. No, everyone doesn’t end up with a drug addiction and on the side of the road. Most don’t, y’all. They end up with a beer belly like any other respectable suburbanite.
