Some updates on our client: @immdef.bsky.social went to his imm court hearing Monday and received confirmation from ICE that he has been “removed” to El Salvador. The Judge asked “how has he been removed if there is no removal order?” And the ICE attorney responded that they did not know.

The team at @immdef.bsky.social is currently working on dozens of cases of people picked up in the last 24 hours in LA. Among them is Javier, who has cancer & will miss his chemo tomorrow if ICE continues to detain him. He has lived in LA for more than 20 years and has no criminal history.

We were able to identify Andry exiting the plane in Venezuela. After 125 days in a torture prison in El Salvador, he has been released & sent back to the country he initially fled. We will keep fighting for justice for Andry. @ImmDef statement: www.immdef.org/blog/andryre...

After more than 15 hours of attorneys advocating at the federal building since yesterday, @immdef.bsky.social client Javier is finally free. He is now on his way to his chemo appointment with his nephew. He let us know he is so grateful to everyone who fought for his release. ❤️

You know when Los Angeles had order? Last weekend before Trump and his thugs pulled this stunt to provoke chaos in our city. Meanwhile, while all eyes are on the protest downtown, ICE is out around the city raiding carwashes and terrorizing residential neighborhoods.
