Incredibly proud of her and my old office. Integrity and decency still exist in incredibly hard circumstances. I hope every former US Attorney and DOJ official from both parties support her publicly.

Statement from survivors. “Survivors have done their part now it’s time for those in power to do theirs.” Melania says “center survivors” but doesn’t consult with them about her “testify before congress” idea. Very performative. Esp. when DOJ that her husband controls won’t even meet with survivors.

Melanie’s “I never knew him” statement feels a lot like Trump calling the Palm Beach Police when Epstein was arrested 2006 and saying “thank god you got him.”

Heartbreaking but important analysis by the numbers of the real brain drain because of this administration at DOJ/FBI and elsewhere. Thank you to Philip Fields, Marine veteran and former FBI analyst who did this on his own time and dime. 🙏⚖️

Bondi was fired because she couldn’t get done the outrageous things Trump wanted her to do with DOJ. Why? Because the system worked thanks in large part to hero prosecutors, agents, judges and grand juries who said no. The next AG will have the same problem.

💯 DOJ lawyers and FBI agents around the country who were fired or pushed out under Bondi’s weak leadership are having a small moment of satisfaction. But Congress needs to do its job and protect what remains. ⚖️

My former friend has not learned his lesson that sucking up still doesn’t ensure loyalty from Trump.
