The U.S. Department of Justice is threatening Victims of Crime Act funds to get states to assist with immigration enforcement. In New York, over $212 million in funds are at stake. I'm fighting back so New Yorkers can access the support they need.

My office is intervening in a lawsuit to defend our shield law and stop Texas from imposing its cruel abortion ban here in New York.  Our shield law exists to protect New Yorkers from out-of-state extremists, and our state will always stand as a safe haven for freedom of choice.

The Supreme Court is taking on a case that challenges part of the Voting Rights Act. It ensures voters of color can elect representatives of their choice. I'm leading a group of AGs to defend this law and protect voting rights for everyone in our country.

Today, my office indicted Khyle Williams for running a dangerous gun trafficking operation in Brooklyn. We retrieved 32 firearms, 12 high-capacity magazines, and 200 rounds of ammunition.   Thank you to the NYPD and ATF for helping us protect our communities.

We won a court order forcing the Trump administration to continue FEMA's BRIC program and provide billions in funds that protect our communities from floods, wildfires, and other disasters.   I'll always fight to ensure our state gets the funding we need to keep New Yorkers safe.

I'm suing to block the Trump administration's illegal new tariffs and uphold the law. The U.S. Supreme Court already ruled that this administration can’t impose massive new tariffs on a whim. The administration can’t ignore the law and hurt consumers and small businesses.

With global events causing a sudden increase in oil prices that could drive up the cost of gas for Staten Islanders and all New Yorkers, I am encouraging everyone to be on the lookout for unreasonable price hikes. Illegal price gouging won't be tolerated.

New York is a national leader in protecting our kids online.   Our legislation to safeguard our kids from the harms of social media is a major step toward ending the youth mental health crisis, and I'm going to keep fighting.

A Rochester landlord failed to inform low-income families of their rights before forcing them out of their homes for reconstruction. My office secured compensation for these residents and we're ensuring they can return to their homes. I'll always fight for tenants in New York.
