Fil 1/13

Never forget nor forgive! 16 years ago, on July 15, 2009, Natalia #Estemirova was murdered by Kadyrov's hitmen because she exposed the regime's crimes. She had worked with Anna Politkovskaya and Stanislav Markelov also murdered by Putin regime, Kadyrov's master. Western leaders turned a blind eye.
Some say it's diplomacy... How can you smile & shake hands with a man guilty of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, the deportation of children, & endless torture? Precisely, diplomacy has no place with a criminal against humanity. By what it announces, It constitutes a strategic threat.
Amazing news! We can be confident that this will continue. We must strike at the heart of Russia's capabilities before missiles and drones reach Ukrainian territory—target the archer rather than the arrows. This saves lives. A huge congratulations to the Ukrainian armed forces! Ukraine will win!

Please do not turn a blind eye to the decisive war, and let's prevent a russian non defeat. That's the purpose of my 166th long read on my international relations and strategy blog. Ukraine: What's come next. I am drawing here some concrete scenarios. tenzerstrategics.substack.com/p/ukraine-wh...
His name was Hordiy Udovychenko. He was killed on the night of March 7, 2026, alongside his mother Olena. He was murdered by the russians for being Ukrainian, just as the Nazis assassinated Jewish children for being Jews. And because we, in the West, did not want to take action. Unbearable.
This confirms what we already knew, but what is not talked about enough. russia, a terrorist state, is directly targeting Europe with acts intended to kill. It is at war with us. This will only intensify, maybe dramatically, until Moscow is completely defeated in Ukraine. www.bbc.com/news/article...
So russia is helping Iran target US soldiers (as it did with the Taliban in Afghanistan), while Ukraine is offering its services to shoot down Iranian drones. But Trump will continue without hesitation to support Moscow in its war against Ukraine & to side with the enemy. www.ft.com/content/19be...
When you consider the forces that the US deployed (not necessarily used) to attack Iran, with a quarter of those assets, they could have striked russian forces in Ukraine in 2014, 2022, and still now. It would have put an end to the war (and sent a strong message to Tehran). Highly frustrating.
My 165th long read on my strategy blog is about this commemoration that should never have taken place. We should have defeated Russia from the very beginning. We will bear the strategic blame for this for a long time to come. Starting with Primo Levi... tenzerstrategics.substack.com/p/there-is-n...
This 164th essay on my international relations blog is truly a long read. It dissects President Zelenskyy's extraordinary speech in Munich (I already did the same for Davos). Some vital strategic and historical lessons for Europe can be learned here. tenzerstrategics.substack.com/p/a-true-tal...
