Survivors of Epstein’s abuse deserve transparency, accountability, & healing. That’s why I signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the House floor to release all the files. And we won’t stop our push for a full, public Congressional hearing to ensure survivors are heard.

Today, we heard harrowing stories from survivors of Epstein's abuse. Epstein is dead, but the hurt & harm he caused is alive and well. We'll keep pushing for accountability, including a public Congressional hearing with survivors and the release of the full Epstein files.

UPDATE: House Oversight is convening a private roundtable with survivors of Epstein’s abuse. This is a testament to our pressure. I look forward to hearing from survivors & won't stop pushing for a full, public hearing so their stories are documented in the Congressional Record.

After Pressure from Pressley, Oversight Committee to Convene Closed-Door Roundtable with Survivors of Epstein’s Abuse (1/2)

“If we are to hold powerful abusers to account, we must center the voices they tried to silence. This upcoming roundtable is a step toward the healing, accountability, and transparency survivors deserve. To the survivors who are stepping forward to share their stories and to those who continue to hold their stories close: thank you for your strength. I see you, your experiences are real, and I am so sorry for what you went through.”
After Pressure from Pressley, Oversight Committee to Convene Closed-Door Roundtable with Survivors of Epstein’s Abuse (2/2)

“I strongly encourage all of my Oversight colleagues to join this roundtable and provide the survivors the space to share their stories and be heard with the respect and dignity they deserve. But justice delayed is justice denied. I continue to demand a full and public Congressional hearing to ensure their testimony is documented in the Congressional Record and shared transparently with the public. And as the Oversight Committee continues its investigation, I continue to demand the release of the full, unredacted Epstein files with the names of survivors protected.”

A ceasefire is necessary & overdue. Trump has supported Netanyahu’s barbaric warfare at the expense of communities at home & abroad—and we’ve been pressing hard to stop this war. It’s essential this ceasefire holds & brings meaningful peace to the region.

Just your reminder that while Donald Trump does his vanity projects at the White House to appease his billionaire donors, he has done absolutely nothing to address the affordability crisis.

If this nation is serious about the next 250 years, it must prove it. That proof begins with Congress helping build a future grounded not in denial, but in repair. Our Reparative Justice Agenda is a reminder that reparations are not a charity. They are a debt long overdue.

In the face of authoritarianism & fascism, we cannot be complacent. We must be vigilant & proactive, because everyone has a role to play. Grateful to spend the day celebrating Black freedom at the Hyde Park Juneteenth Joy Celebration.

I'm proud to represent the third largest Haitian diaspora in the country. It's great to have the Haiti National Football Team in Massachusetts and in the FIFA World Cup. Best of luck to them on the field today as they return to the World Cup after 52 years.

🚨This harrowing reporting should alarm everyone. Donald Trump changed the Situation Room to the Epstein War Room to have his Administration continue their cover-up. But we won't stop until survivors get the transparency & accountability they're owed.

Our foster youth are brilliant, resilient, & end up doing incredible things. Like Eric whose work now focuses on family preservation, early intervention, & stronger support for youth in foster care. Eric, thank you for the work you do and for meeting with me in Washington.

Every reader should have access to books that reflect diverse lived experiences. Grateful the Mass. State House has taken action to fight back discriminatory book bans in our libraries & honor the brilliance of our authors & illustrators. TY Rep. John Moran for your leadership on this.

As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, the next 250 years cannot look like the last. The next 250 years must be about repair. That’s why we’re calling on Congress to meet this moment with the urgency it demands & advance our Reparative Justice Agenda without delay.

The inequities we face today are not accidental. They are direct results of this nation’s systems designed to exclude, exploit, & harm communities. That’s why I’m joining advocates to call on Congress to help build a future grounded in repair. Tune in: youtube.com/live/7pFSmUo...
