NEW: Trump has targeted political foes — including Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook — for claiming more than one primary residence on their loan papers. But ProPublica found that at least three of the president’s Cabinet members have done the same thing.

NEW: U.S. Sen. Tim Sheehy, who previously ran a company that provides aircraft for fighting wildfires, has proposed ending Forest Service inspections of those aircraft. One of the company’s aircraft failed an inspection because of a crack in its wing.

NEW: Regulators have linked Mark McAfee’s raw dairy farm to more than a dozen recalls and outbreaks that left hundreds of people ill. “I’ve put a couple kids in the hospital,” McAfee said. “But here’s the thing: I’m a pioneer.”

On Sept. 16, 2024, Emily Waldorf’s daughter found her curled on the floor, bleeding during a dangerous miscarriage at 17 weeks pregnant. Waldorf and her husband rushed to an Arkansas hospital, expecting emergency care. Instead, doctors said they could not intervene under the state’s abortion ban.
