Tens of thousands of Washingtonians have lost their healthcare this year because Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress funded tax breaks for billionaires instead of healthcare coverage for Americans. I will keep fighting to expand healthcare and lower prices across the country.

I recently stopped by Briarwood Elementary in Renton, where I answered questions about everything from favorite musicians and colors to my work in Congress. I even chatted with a kiddo who was a former patient of mine! Thank you for having me!

Folks across #WA08 are struggling to afford gas as prices skyrocket, which is why I introduced the Gas Prices Relief Act to bring down costs by suspending the federal gas tax. Glad to hear President Trump finally wants to follow my lead to help Americans as we pay the cost of his reckless war.
