Don't be surprised if whoever killed Charlie Kirk has no coherent political ideology, didn't do it for any particular reason, and doesn’t fall anywhere neat on the left/right paradigm.

There's no reason to take any reporting about Tyler Robinson at face value right now. Countless officials, law enforcement agencies, politicians, influencers, and reporters have been wrong, hoaxed, or caught making things up. Social media is making us all crazy and stupid.

Love to watch a drug ad where death is the third from the last listed side effect. Dry eyes and elevated heartrate are more concerning???

Swalwell is done. The question is who picks up his support in the governor's race. If his voters splinter half a dozen ways, there's a risk of the GOP winning both slots in CA's idiotic jungle primary. Ballots don't go out for almost a month, so there's time to avoid a disaster.

The strategy of scaring people into voting Democratic failed in 2016 and 2024. The 2024 campaign was "noun, verb, Project 2025." It doesn't work. People vote for things that will help them, not against things that will hurt them.

The old Trump was an entertainer. Trump in 2026 is a dismal and agitated old man who can't speak coherently or without embarrassing himself. He won't be able to take even a few mild roasts without lashing out in anger and confusion.

With Mike Johnson running a Republican House, filing impeachment is entirely symbolic. It's theater. Run on a Democratic House curbing Trump's abuses and making government function again, and take care of business once you have the gavel.

Maybe they have two SCIFs, one for Trump so he can watch things blow up and talk to reporters, and a different one where actual decision-makers and analysists convene.

The problem with Trump doing endless short calls with journalists is that he can't remember anything he said from day to day, and contradicts himself constantly. So the only real effect these interviews are having is reinforcing the idea that he has dementia, which is probably not the intent.

On the same day Trump calling Alex Jones a bankrupt has-been (which, in fairness, is true), Jones said Trump's erratic behavior is due to being hexed by witches. Alex is also now calling himself a "battle axe for the Lord."

Jones, Carlson, Owens, etc, are at war with Trump because their audiences are turning on Trump, and they have to follow their audience or else the $$$ stops coming in. They helped get him into office TWICE, and until they express contrition for that, their turn on Trump is just brand preservation.
