Two things that are, unfortunately, true: -Massive algorithmic tech platforms need to be regulated -There is no proposed regulation in the US that legally defines a site like Facebook as being different from like the comment section on someone's cooking blog Without that we destroy the internet.
I hate to say this, but it's the lack of video on here. X is still far more useful than Bluesky during breaking news events because users there have way more options for multimedia. Bluesky video has to be under 100mb. It's a huge pain to post. Also, the Bluesky mobile app is still super clunky.
TikTok moderation is complete garbage. Every other platform was fine with this, but apparently TrumpTok has such an itchy finger around Israel content they won't even allow a simple video DEBUNKING all the Netanyahu AI stuff from this week. (Sorry for potato quality, Bluesky video is also bad lol.)
