Can you imagine your child being shot in school, and having the worst day of your life *overshadowed* by a different shooting, whose aftermath somehow will be leveraged to make it more likely more shootings will occur in the future?

This is critical. The idea that the IDF, in this context, under this leadership, is meticulously trying to avoid harming journalists and any such deaths are regrettable and unavoidable accidents is completely implausible.
