Can you imagine your child being shot in school, and having the worst day of your life *overshadowed* by a different shooting, whose aftermath somehow will be leveraged to make it more likely more shootings will occur in the future?

This is critical. The idea that the IDF, in this context, under this leadership, is meticulously trying to avoid harming journalists and any such deaths are regrettable and unavoidable accidents is completely implausible.

I wrote this after Uvalde, but really it applies to any school shooting.

Andy Ogles lost his primary. Huh. I'm sure the GOP replacement will be terrible in his own way, but it seems likely *less* terrible than Ogles (easy bar to meet, I know).

You’ve got to hand it to Haley Stevens. She had to overcome AIPAC spending $30 million dollars on her behalf, and she still almost won anyway.

I actually know nothing about Mallory McMorrow, but “Democrat who tries to shoot between the centrist and the leftist and ends up pulling 7% of the vote” is so clearly my jam that I have to assume I would have died for her.

What can we learn from an NBC article reporting on the Wesley Bell/Cori Bush results that is arguably biased in favor of the latter? Nothing. Or better: we can learn not to cherrypick single articles to spin out widespanning grievances about media bias against "us" and in favor of "them".

Democrats endorsing the Democratic nominee as soon as they're nominated is good and more Democrats should do it more often. (Not that my "endorsement" matters, but AES absolutely has it and we should do everything we can to ensure he keeps Michigan's Senate seat in D hands this November).
