Looks like I made Kristi Noem mad by sending the Governor our bill to ban ICE & other law enforcement from wearing ski masks. Hope no dogs are nearby! Gaslight us all you want, but we’ll never accept ICE secret police in California. Back off, Kristi!

This is absolutely lawless. It’s why I’m authoring legislation to ban them from masking. We have no idea whether they’re even law enforcement. They could be bounty hunters engaged in kidnapping & human trafficking. NO ICE POLICE STATE IN CALIFORNIA

My bill to allow people to sue ICE & other federal agents for violating people’s constitutional rights just passed a key Assembly committee. It’s already passed the Senate. The No Kings Act, SB 747, will help ensure accountability & reinstate the rule of law.

By falsely classifying the simple counting of ballots as “fraud,” they’re laying groundwork to delegitimize & steal the November midterms. They’ll try to cast doubt on close House races Dems win & demand those Dems not be seated. It’s January 6 part 2.

Why does MAGA hate voting so much? They hate people being able to register easily. They hate people being able to vote easily. They even hate counting votes if it doesn’t go their way. And if all else fails, they just storm the Capitol.

Hegseth is now deciding which religions are officially recognized & which aren’t. This is in the context of Hegseth working to make the U.S. military a Christian organization. We have a separation of church & state for a reason. It’s so dangerous when government picks & chooses among religions.

Republicans continue to fund Trump’s terror campaign against immigrant communities. ICE must be abolished & we need an actual professionally run immigration system that allows immigration without terrorizing people.

Election Day on the T to Chinatown. Let’s ramp up federal support for transit so we can do things like extend the T to North Beach & Fisherman’s Wharf & west to the Richmond! Huge priority for me in Congress. I’ll go to the mat for transit as I always have.
