I agree with Gov Gavin Newsom that Trump’s take over of the CA National Guard is purposefully inflammatory. I also note this federalization is being done under 10 U.S.C. § 12406, which means the Guard troops will still be subject to the prohibitions in the Posse Comitatus Act.

As a Catholic, I take great offense to Donald Trump mocking Catholics. I wish Trump would focus on lowering prices instead. The American economy had negative GDP growth last quarter. That’s what he should be focused on instead of making fun of Catholics.

Betty and I had a wonderful time at the Torrance Firefighters Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale tonight! Thank you to the amazing firefighters who protect us, and to all those who support our firefighters. Torrance is one of the few cities that has a Class 1 Fire Department.

The trump economy sucks: 92,000 jobs LOST last month. Unemployment rate INCREASES to 4.4%. Labor force participation DROPS. And what is trump focused on? Golden drapes and his Epstein ballroom.

Thank you to the American people who exercised their First Amendment rights to protest and film horrific abuses by Kristi Noem’s masked agents. House and Senate Judiciary Committees held two oversight hearings exposing Noem’s corruption and abuse of power. trump fired her today.

The producer price index (PPI), a leading indicator of CPI, came in hot. Expectations were that Core PPI would be 3.0%, but prices jumped by 3.6%. The tariffs and policies of trump and his rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American economy and super charging inflation.

Tourism is down in the U.S. under Trump, while globally it is up. Kristi Noem turned DHS into something that is FUBAR and tourists are scared to come. A British woman was shackled and slept on floor of cell for six weeks even though she had a valid visa. Noem must resign.

What does Trump do after the Supreme Court strikes down his massive tax increase? He acts like a crybaby and imposes temporary tariffs of 10% that will expire in 150 days. Democrats will kill the temporary tariffs when they expire. Republicans support tariffs. November is coming.
