Happy anniversary to #Animaniacs! After the success of Tiny Toon Adventures, Tom Ruegger created this successful spin-off also produced by Steven Spielberg. The Peabody and Emmy award winning show debuted on Fox Kids back in 1993 and is a part of the Kids’ WB lineup.

Happy birthday to Hanna-Barbera legend, Don Messick. He voiced Scooby-Doo, Bamm-Bamm Rubble, Astro, Muttley, Boo-Boo Bear and Ranger Smith, Sebastian the Cat, Dr. Benton Quest, Papa Smurf and Azrael. Messick is also the voice of Hamton J. Pig in Tiny Toon Adventures.

#LooneyTunes still holds up not just for its well timed comedy and slapstick, but for its character writing and personalities that drive the story rather than by coincidence. Something the Space Jam movies never understood. And the recent two movies released got them down nearly perfect.

Pinky and the Brain, the first spin-off from Animaniacs, debuted in this day in 1995. Tom Ruegger originally created these characters as a segment on Animaniacs but they got their own show as the Amblin, Spielberg and WB partnership was at its peak. “Das Mouse” was the first episode aired.

Today in 1995, The WB debuted its Saturday morning block, Kids WB! Debuting on the new block are The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, the Animanicas spin-off, Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid! #LooneyTunes

Happy Pepé Le Pew-sday. As part of #Skunktember, "Really Scent" is finally released on Blu-Ray as part of #LooneyTunes Collector's Vault Volume 3. Michael Maltese changes things up while Abe Levitow directs making this one of the most unique Pepé Le Pew cartoons ever made and one of his best.

Happy 75th anniversary to "Lovelorn Leghorn" (1951), directed by Robert McKimson This short is the first pairing of Foghorn Leghorn and Miss Prissy. It is also the last cartoon Eugene Poddany composed for WB as Carl Stalling was recovering from surgery. #LooneyTunes #FoghornLeghorn80
