DNEG Animation will animate the newest Looney Tunes short premiering at Annecy this June, “Daffy Season”. 3D animation is the norm for theatrical release but expect it to be stylized rather than hyper-realistic.

Friday, April 17th is Daffy Duck’s 89th birthday. Last year, it was quack-tacular seeing him return to the big screen with a starring role in The Day the Earth Blew Up. Now, he’s getting his own #LooneyTunes short expected for wide release this November. 2027 will mark his 90th anniversary.
