I'll leave you with a picture of Myrtle this evening. She's a red eared slider. About 5 - 7 years old. She came to me about 2 years ago from my daughter's co-worker, who was unable to care for her, and they didn't know how to keep her in a proper habitat.

I just wanted to share a funny photo taken earlier today. Myrtle was actually dragging this tricycle with her shell.

Omg 😲 I think she's digging with her back feet to prepare a hole to lay her eggs. This will be her first time in the 4 year's she's been with me that she's finally released eggs. She so needed this.

Today is the day that my brother would've been the same age as me for a little over a month until my birthday in May. We looked so similar that people would ask my mom if we were twins.

I don't know what's with me being in the right time and place to be able to help, but I'm glad I was able to help someone today. I helped a woman in distress who was in an electric wheelchair crying and screaming as she circled the neighborhood.

Have you ever noticed a fight in the distance that was about to happen, then ran up and broke up the fight as fits were swinging? Then, after you break up the fight, you realize the guy you stopped from being beat up probably deserved it. Well, I did that today.
